The bunker is a species of baitfish found along the east coast of the USA where stripers and bluefish are caught using these imitations. They do work here in the UK too as a generic saltwater fly / baitfish pattern and account for a fair share of pollack, saithe, bass, and many other saltwater predators in British waters.
