This particular pattern represents sedge pupa and trout and grayling gorge themselves on sedge's throughout the year and this is one of the best patterns available. Fish these flies Czech nymph style. Howard Crostan is a member of the Hardy and Greys Team England. This is one of Howard's own fly patterns that is now part of the Crystal River collection.
