This is one of the most famous and successful lures of all time. The original pattern was designed and fished by the Nomad fly fishing team based out of the midlands. Using this fly the team won most of the major still water competitions and consequently was kept on the 'secret list' for many years. The above example, the olive and black variant, is by far the best colour combination for most still waters.

The price for these flies will be emailed to you before any tying commences, although prices are generally comparable to custom flies currently on our site. Any fly can be tied however please give as much detail as possible to ensure we meet your pattern requirements. We ask for your telephone number such that we can contact you regarding availability, price and to confirm all aspects of your custom fly. Please be aware that each fly has a minimum order of 5 flies per pattern. On average flies will be received with 2 weeks however please allow time for difficult materials to be sourced. No payment is required until your flies are complete, at which stage they will be put on the site ready for you to purchase.
