Jiri Klima Gold Jig Head Hares Ear Caddis

The Jiri Klima Gold Jig head is a fantastic hook to tie on for creating river point flies when Czech Nymphing. The design means that the fly fishes upside down reducing greatly the chances of the fly getting stuck to both debris and rocks on the river bed. This particular pattern is one of my favourites accounting for many trout and grayling throughout the season.

This is a pretty easy fly to tie and a great all rounder. Great for fly fishing on both rivers and still waters. Fish this fly on a floating line with a slow retrieve on still waters or with the current on rivers under a big dry fly or Czech nymph style.
