Tungsten Bead Head Nymphs are great flies for trout and grayling when river fishing.

Tungsten Bead Head Nymphs are great flies for trout and grayling when river fishing. Tungsten beads are very heavy for their size and therefore keep the slim line shape of the natural nymph yet have the weight to get the fly straight down to the feeding zone. These flies can be fished on all lines whilst stillwater fly fishing although the preferred method when river fly fishing is either to Czech nymph or fish the flies under a big dry New Zealand style with a full floating fly line.
