CudaFly (trading as Barracuda) are an established internet retailer of fly fishing tackle and fly tying materials, tools and flies. We are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. On average 95% of products are in stock. Of the items we sell and aim to send out 80-90% of all orders received by 4.00 pm the same day. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website and click on the "Add to Cart" button for any items that you wish to buy (this will put them into the shopping cart). After you have selected the items you wish to buy, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order.

We accept payment by credit card, debit card and cheques drawn on a UK bank. All credit card payments are processed through both PayPal and Nochex securely. This is the most secure way to pay. We DO NOT retain any credit card details even if you register for an account. We no longer take credit card payments over the phone as we prefer your credit card details not to be known by any staff of both CudaFly and Barracuda. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

Should you wish to pay by cheque Items will only be dispatched once the cheque has cleared our bank. This process takes a minimum of 5 working days. Please allow this extra time to receive your goods. We only accept cheques from UK banks.

Should you wish to pay by Postal Order Items will be dispatched as soon as the postal order is received.

We do not back order items unless expressed by you the customer. Cudafly will contact you ASAP and give you the option of back ordering however we will refund ASAP any items that are out of stock giving you the customer time to find alternative sources.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All orders are preliminary until goods are shipped. We reserve the right to refuse or adjust orders where our internet system has displayed, entered or calculated the wrong amount. This has never happened yet but we need to cover ourselves against mistakes.

Special Offers & Free Gifts - All special offers are subject to availability. Free gifts and special offer discounts are only available at the time of ordering. CudaFly reserves the right to send free gifts at their discretion.
Shipping And Handling
All shipping is sent by Royal mail first class registered post. This ensures that all orders are received by the customer ASAP. As all packages have to be signed for we can also 'TRACK' your item should it go missing. Where possible, items ordered by 3.00 pm are usually dispatched the same day.

Delivery can be made to an address other than the cardholders (such as a work address or for sending gifts). We will normally include the receipt with goods unless asked to do otherwise - please use the 'delivery instructions' box on checkout to make such requests.

Shipping and handling is charged for UK destinations at a flat rate of £2.99.

Shipping and handling is charged for European destinations at a flat rate of £5.99.

Shipping and handling is charged for all other destinations at a flat rate of £6.49.

Heavy or large items will have a shipping and handling surcharge per item. The details of which will be shown on those items in question within the site.
Delivery Schedule
Orders received by 3pm are normally despatched the same day. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt. (Note: Please expect any additional delays in times of UK public holidays and any postal strikes etc). Missing orders will not be replaced within 30 days of despatch, due to the Postal Service regulations. As we send your order right away you will normally receive your order in 3 to 7 business days . International orders are generally received in under 14 days but can take up to 21 days from dispatch.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
Back Orders
Although we have most items in stock for immediate delivery sometimes we cannot get the item you have ordered from our supplier. Unlike most fly tying web sites we do not back order outstanding items unless we have been requested to do so from you the customer. This means that if we do not have the item in stock we will reimburse your monies before the order is shipped via Paypal or Nochex. This gives you the customer complete peace of mind and does not result in waiting an excessive amount for your products.
Tax Charges
Cudafly is not currently VAT registered.
Credit Card Security
It is safe to use your credit card to buy on the internet. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. Both PayPal and Nochex handle your card security on their secure servers and you will see the 'Golden Padlock' displayed in your browser for peace of mind. UK shoppers are currently spending about £10bn a year online and there are no known issues with SSL security ever being compromised. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. If you're unhappy with anything you buy from us simply return it for a full refund (minus original delivery costs).

All we require under this guarantee is that you wrap it safely and securely and pay for the return postage. All items must be received by us in a 'saleable' condition intact, complete and unused. All instructions and original packaging must be included and items undamaged. Any partially used items such as tying materials will not be refunded.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

We recommend that you get a proof of posting when returning any items. CudaFly and Barracuda wil not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the post.

Should items be returned due to a manufacturing fault we will return your items to the supplier for investigation and will be under the manufacture's guarantee. If the item is found to be at fault a full refund (excluding the cost of delivery) or replacement will be given. However should it be deemed that the fault has been due to mishandling then CudaFly will not be held responsible for replacement of such items. If a refund is to be due to be issued monies will be transferred ASAP however please allow up to 30 days for ammount to be returned.

Remittance Terms
As all of our credit card payments are processed through PAYPAL and NOCHEX we can remitt any monies to you instantly. As per the returns policy should you not be satisfied with any purchase simply return the item unused and once they are received any monies owed will be transferred ASAP. If however you would like to amend an order simply contact CudaFly, any difference in money will be returned electronically and the rest of the order will be posted
